Siling labuyo peppers are a small chili pepper cultivar native to the Philippines. They are related to Malagueta Peppers and often mistaken with Bird's Eye Chilis (which are a separate species, Capsicum annuum). The small, slightly wrinkled peppers are 1.5 to 2.5 cm long and grow pointing upwards in clusters of 2 or 3. Fruit ripen from green to red, yellow, orange, purple, white, or black. Peppers are very spicy, with a Scoville Heat rating of 80,000 - 100,000 units.
